2021 Ford Mustang

The body style of the 2021 Ford Mustang is more rounded than its elder brothers, with moderately deep body lines, a wide black grated grille, fierce-looking headlights, daytime running lights, and hood-set air vents. Exterior features on this imminently recognizable car include a spoiler of the rear lip variety, pinstripes, metallic paint options, body-colored front and rear bumpers, power door mirrors, and powered heated manual-folding side mirrors with turn signals built-in. The 2021 Ford Mustang roars down the road with two available engines. The first is a surprisingly potent turbocharged EcoBoost 2.3-liter inline-four engine that packs more power than many of the larger engines of previous Mustangs. That engine provides 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. The second is a 5.0-liter V-8 generating 480 horsepower and 420 pound-feet of torque. The 2021 Ford Mustang comes with either a six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic with auto-manual shift mode switching and overdrive.

This car has always been fast off of the starting line, but the 2021 version is even better. The EcoBoost trim gets from zero to 60 in 5.1 seconds, and the Mach 1 does the same in 4.2 seconds. The latter made the quarter-mile run in 12.2 seconds and went from there to a complete stop in 94 feet. It features four-wheel fully independent suspension, an available TORSEN limited-slip differential system, heavy-duty coil springs, BWS summer performance tires, and MagneRide metallic fluid-filled shocks. These systems and features combine to give the 2021 Mustang the smoothest ride possible in such a powerful car.

The interior of the 2021 Ford Mustang is just as impressive as what is under its hood. It comes with entertainment features like FordPass Connect internet access, a 12-speaker B&O premium sound system, a 1000-watt premium amplifier, steering wheel mounted audio controls, a pair of first-row LCD monitors, the SYNC infotainment system, and a CD-MP3 decoder. Convenience features on the 2021 Ford Mustang include one-touch-down power windows, seats with memory settings, a retained accessory power system, two USB ports, two 12-volt DC power outlets, a voice-activated GPS navigation system, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, and cruise control with steering wheel controls.

Safety is of critical importance in a vehicle this powerful, so Ford has included the Ford Co-Pilot360 automatic emergency braking system in the 2021 Mustang. This system allows your Mustang to detect dangerously oncoming traffic from the front and react to brake and avoid it even when you can't.
